SockGuy socks have been worn by champions in all Major Cycling Stage Races, Ironman competitions, Sturgis, and most major running events around the world. SockGuy socks are also worn by local clubs and shops, in local gyms across the country, and even for weddings and corporate functions.
Our two main retail sizes are S/M (fits sizes 6-10) and L/XL (fits sizes 9-13). We also offer a "One-Size-Fits-Most" size (fits sizes 7-11) for our custom sock orders only. This is an excellent size choice for small events and clubs who want an excellent custom sock on a small budget.
All SockGuy socks are built on our unique Stretch to Fit™ sizing system and feature our exclusive Easy-Fit™ cuff for superior comfort. We use only the best micro-denier acrylics, wool, and colored nylons. We specialize in excellent customer service and superior custom socks. Whatever your needs are we have a sock for you. How we build THE Most Comfortable Socks You Will Ever Wear-The first step to building a great sock is the material. SockGuy starts with a blend of the finest micro-denier acrylic whose properties are such that they out-wick cotton by over 75%! Combining this wicking aspect with a low pilling fiber that inherently does not attract odors, shrink or fade in the wash. Add in super tough nylon for our heels and toes along with locking in the patterns in the cuffs for strength and looks .Finish with just enough spandex to produce our exclusive Stretch to Fit™ sizing system. Combining these elements with our state of the art knitting machines we produce a sock of extremely highly technical properties that are simply The Most Comfortable Socks You Will Ever Wear!
Other Highlights of the building process:
Seaming-Our toes are seamed slightly to the rear of the start of the toe to provide as much comfort as possible to eliminate any seam discomfort.
Design- All our socks use original designs with super cool graphics that capture today’s super hip-happening trends.
Sizing-We offer two main sizes. S/M (fits sizes 6-10) and L/XL (fits sizes 9-13). Our true Stretch to Fit™ system ensures that your socks fit right each and every time you wear them. Our S/M and L/XL sizes cover the majority of the population. By not having 4 separate sizes we have the ability to be in-stock with every item and create new and exciting styles more often. In addition, for our custom sock program we offer a true “One size fits Most” size(fits sizes 7-11) that is great for all events, giveaways and smaller orders.
Channel Air™-Our Channel-Air™ socks are designed with 5 channels of padded cushioning where you need it, and 4 channels of mesh for increased air flow. Typical padded socks have more bulk in the foot that increases heat build-up and puts undue stress on the moisture management system. We have solved that problem with the introduction of 4 channels of air-mesh eliminating needless weight and bulk. Our Channel-Air sock design delivers the perfect combination of Ultra-Plush Cushioning and Air-Mesh with an arch support for a cool and cushioned fit.
SockGuy Wool – Made from ISOWool™-- a superior blend of 50% Merino WOOL and 50% polypropylene. This blend is 5X's the strength and durability of Merino wool alone. Shrink-resistant and itch-free our Wool socks keep your feet drier and provide excellent insulation in all weather conditions. Our Wool socks also feature our "Easy-Fit" cuff and "Stretch-to-Fit" sizing system for maximum fit and performance.
Moisture Management System- The Moisture Management System (MMS) is the term given for a garments ability to wick moisture (sweat) away from the skin and into the garment then back into the air. For hosiery the MMS starts at the toe and extends up through the cuff. The moisture literally travels throughout the length of the sock to escape from your skin and the sock itself.
